Here’s a profile of me from my graduate alma mater, Carnegie Mellon, which is written in the impressive tone that my personal website would be written in if I were less modest.
Interviews: Truthout, Future Left Podcast, Upstream (podcast), “The Zero Hour With R.J. Eskow” (Public radio), My video interview with Huffington Post (Aug 2015) seems to have been lost in the sands of website revisions, as is my interview with Meghan McCain on her radio show (also August 2015). She invited me to come on after I wrote about Burning Man for Jacobin; I had a brief moment on live radio to wax poetic about the virtues of Cuban socialism to McCain, and unsurprisingly the producer ghosted me after the interview and won’t send me an audio file of our conversation.
One of the coolest things that ever happened to me was when a group of Portuguese comic artists were inspired to name an issue of their comics anthology QCDI after a Jacobin article I wrote (see image, left). You can buy copies of their comic “QCDI #3000: Fear of a Capitalist Planet” from their website here.
